In a recent Hartford Magazine interview, Tara explaned, "I knew we could do it... strengthenng the idea of sports unifyng the communities." And, then, in August, the national brand Clorox approached her, via Facebook message, about joning forces to help prevent MRSA, with NBA star Grant Hill, who nearly died from the bacterial infection, workng as spokesperson. The magic of swapmesports.com took the big stage on September 13, 2010, in a press conference held in New york, along with Clorox and Grant. It was a special moment of validation for Tara and everyone involved with Swap Me Sports.
But, what separates Swap Me Sports from the likes of Amazon, Ebay and Bidz, it's mission to not only allow members to buy, sell or trade on it's website, holding true to their mantra of "of giving back", SwapMeSports.com provides the option for members to actually donate their equipment.
Asked to summarize the success of Swap Me Sports, Tara, graciously, expounds, "We are a success because of the communities that support us...". It's difficult to explain the formula for the success of any venture, but one common variable is "good", which Swap Me Sports supplies by the ton. Make a visit to: swapmesports.com- It's a cool website! I wouldn't steer you wrong:)
